The Pulp Series
Cotton rag paper is a post-consumer use for discarded cotton apparel scraps. This series was created to highlight the use of recycled material and spark the conversation of how we can continue to encourage cyclical-product-lifecycles in a consumer-based culture.

The main inspiration for the series was the Shizen paper, produced in India by hand from 100% post-consumer cotton discards in a completely pollution-free process. Providing its workers with a safe job and fair wages, and providing you and me with a super rough, super-absorbent surface to create with sustainably.
